* These FAQs are compilled as a whole, taking into account all themes. If the answer to your question is here, but the option on the theme itself isn’t, then it’s because the theme was built without it. Please don’t ask me any questions about my themes on my main blog, if you have an issue, as here.

Q - Do you mind if I remove the credit link in the corner?

A - I would much rather you didn’t. I guess there’s nothing stopping you if you know how to, but I’ve spent a fair amount of my time creating these themes. Out of common coutesy, I request you keep the ‘w’ credit link where it is. There is a option to keep or remove the other theme link, use that option as you wish.

Q - Can you help me with ____ ?

A - As much as I like to help people, I no longer have the time to help users with individual requests. If the option you want isn’t in the appearance tab, then it’s because I have designed the theme that way, without it. So if you want to put it in yourself, be my guest, just don’t ask me how to do it.

Q - How do I remove fading on images?

A - Customize > Appearance > Faded Images > Untick Box 

Q - How do I upload a photo to my sidebar?

A - Customize > Appearance > Sidebar image > Upload 

Q - My Sidebar photo isn’t showing up, it’s just a white space.

A - Go to Customize > Appearance > Show Photo > Tick Box 

Q - How do I remove the fading on the links?

A - It’s a complicated process, so I suggest you don’t fiddle with it. It is also part of my themes, and so don’t like it, don’t use the theme.

Q - Some of my photos are smaller/bigger than the theme, how can I prevent this from happening?

A - All photos uploaded via the Photo tab will appear on your blog the same size as each other, because that is how it’s set in the coding. If the photo was uploaded via a text post, then it will appear the size that that particular file was uploaded as. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to prevent this, it will be the same with all themes.

Q - How do I get my title to show up? 

A - Customize > Appearance > Show Title > Tick Box 

Q - How can I get captions to show up under posts? 

A - Customize > Appearance > Show Caption > Tick Box

Q - What theme are you using on your main blog? 

A - If it isn’t on my themes page, then it isn’t available yet. it will eventually be put up, you’ll just have to keep checking back.

Q - How do I upload a background image? 

A - Customize > Appearance > Background Image > Upload

Q - When I re-edit the appearance options my theme messes up. Why does this happen/how can I prevent it? 

A - Click reset defaults before you change any of the appearances. I’m sorry it does this, I don’t know why it happens, or how I can prevent it. 

Q - I have a drop down menu, and want to remove the ask, archive and theme links. How can I do this? 

Customize > Appearance > Show { - } Link > Untick Box 

Q - When I install your theme, it doesn’t look like the preview, and it is half disappearing off the page. Why is this happening? 

A - It’s the internet browser your using. My themes work best in Google Chrome (the browser I build them in), Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari and others. They do not work well with Internet Explorer. I plan to fix this in the future, but for now, I suggest you update to a better browser. 

Q - How can I get endless scrolling on my blog? 

A - Customize > Appearance > Endless Scrolling > Tick box 

Q - My sidebar picture overlaps my posts, how do I fix this? 

A - Upload it via the appearances tab, rather than an external photo hosting site. My coding is set to resize the photo to fit the sidebar perfectly.
